All of these have won over here over this trip, with the exception of Calmdownmate who's won here but over the trip at Ripon, but in a tight little heat we think that PUNCHING will get the better of him and This Ones For Eddy. Punching has the best draw of the trio, and has never been out of the frame when racing on the fibresand. A winner here on his penultimate run, ahead of a couple that have subsequently won. He looks to be Stuart Parr's best runner on the card. This Ones For Eddy loves this surface, but found five furlongs too sharp here on Thursday when running second. Calmdownmate finished ahead of Punching last time out, with Dicky Le Davoir further back. That was over the minimum trip though, and he's not drawn very well, so one can make a case for a reversal of that result. Legendary Guest has been off the track since August, but won on his only previous outing here, but that course and distance success is a little misleading as it was on the turf, rather than the fibresand. Cheek pieces worked once here for Only A Game, but they're off now with first time blinkers applied. It's a trappy little affair, with our preference being for Punching.
