Verdict

Recent course and distance winner Diminuto gets the vote here ahead of Sister Etienne and Cryptic Clue. The selection scored with a fair bit of authority nine days ago, and provided she doesn't get unduly het up before the race, she could easily be good enough to follow up with another win. Cryptic Clue missed the break and looked in need of the run in the race that Diminuto won, however he disappointed when markedly stepped up to a mile last time out and although this trip is more suitable, it may be that six furlongs could prove to be his ideal trip. Sister Etienne is the only other winner in the race apart from the selection and although she won a seller at Beverley in September, she looks high enough in the weights now and can be passed over. In what isn't the most awe-inspiring start to the day, Diminuto gets the vote.
