ITALIAN RIVIERA isn't the first of his stable's representatives to improve for a step up in trip having scored over 2m at Kempton last week. Sir Mark Prescott's charge has a penalty to overcome but has plenty of scope for further progress and little to beat in this. Darsan finished closer at Yarmouth last time but has failed to beat a rival in his last two starts at this track while Sea Cliff was still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Catterick recently. The remainder have shown little to recommend them of late and are consequently hard to fancy.
