This should prove to be one of the more competitive races on the card here today with the likes of course and distance winners Pepin and Cool Art expected to be up there with the front three but it is SWISS ART who is put forward to score. Ruth Carr's colt has been the victor on his last four visits here and looks more than capable of recording a fifth success at the track. He is clearly at home here and should continue in great heart, despite the drop in trip. Cool Art has finished sixth at the last couple of starts and has been disappointing since his last victory, almost a year ago. A race such as this offers the gelding a decent chance to get back on form and although a win looks unlikely a place among the principles is not beyond him. Pepin was a winner over course and distance just two starts ago but failed to follow up on that promise when finishing a lowly 10th at Salisbury last time. His last outing aside, he is generally a decent performer and on a return to a track he clearly enjoys he should make the frame. Check the market for guidance to the chances of the remainder as good recent form is non-existent leading us to side with course specialist Swiss Art.
