The progressive ST PATRICK'S DAY drops back in distance as he bids for a hat-trick but that shouldn't inconvenience him too much. He romped home by over four lengths over a mile here last time and Moonlight Venture will do well to reverse running. Patriotic beat Clockmaker over track and trip last month and a line through the latter gives Moon River something to find while though Afkar arrives in good form he takes a further step up in class having finished runner-up here on his latest start. Captain Revelation was second here recently but was still well beaten.
