A Group 3 winner on the Flat in Germany, Ephraim faced a tough task on his hurdling bow for Charlie Mann in a Class 2 contest at Ascot. He didn't fare too badly in third but HAWKHURST is preferred in this. The latter found one too good when sent off favourite on his hurdling debut at Stratford but will have learnt plenty and gets the vote. Weststreet has placed form over timber that gives him a shout and he makes more appeal than Young Dillon while Ganbei was placed in a hunter chase back in April but Adadream has shown nothing so far.
