        Verdict

        Mad Professor gets the nod in a very competitive affair, Little Sparkler and Quote Unquote are two to consider for each-way purposes. Peter Chapple-Hyam doesn't run too many on the all-weather and so when he does they have to be respected. Mad Professor ran well behind Mr Rigsby at Wolverhampton last time, a race that is working out quite well. He has a rating of 66 following some good efforts on the turf and if he handles this surface he should go very close indeed. Little Sparkler disappointed on heavy ground at Ayr last time, but before that had been progressing nicely, she could get into the frame at a decent price. Meanwhile Quote Unquote is a model of consistency and has shown a real liking for this course. Best of the rest could be Musical City, but Mad Professor is the one that gets the decision.
