Love's Design won easily last time out at Wolverhampton in a seller and although this is a much tougher race he should still be capable of winning this against some experienced AW performers. On the down side is the fact he has not raced at Southwell for over two years though on his last appearance at the Midlands track he finished a respectable third to See Ya Maite. Red Delirium is a dual winner at this track already this year but has gone off the boil since being sent for three runs at Wolverhampton where he had problems starting. Back to his favourite track he should give the selection most to do with a decent apprentice taking weight off his back. Crusoe put in a pleasing performance at this track on Tuesday and if continuing in that form has every chance of notching up an AW hat-trick for the year to date though the suspicion is this trip at this trip may stretch his stamina. Sudra has struggled of late having won over this course and distance in January. If he is in the mood then he is weighted to go very well here. Love's Design, then, should have the edge but if either Red Delirium or Sudra are in the mood then they should run the selection close.
