Gorgeous General landed a double over the minimum trip before finding one too good off today’s mark here. He acts on the surface but LIAMBA is preferred on last month’s third over course and distance given this looks less competitive and David O’Meara’s filly can come out best. Dream Ally and the veteran Sir Geoffrey have form on Fibresand though neither arrives at their best while Canimar’s recent second came over 7f at Wolverhampton and she struggled in both previous outings at this venue. Qallaab is unexposed and may do better attempting this shorter trip for the first time.
