Takajan cannot be discounted despite his 6lb penalty for winning over C&D last week and Desert Strike, another recent winner, handles this surface though all four wins have been registered on the Polytrack. Ace Of Spies is tempting off his current mark and can reverse recent form with Takajan but the selection goes to BENATO THE GREAT. A winner on his debut in a maiden at Redcar in October, he had a couple of subsequent winners behind and has since joined Dandy Nicholls. Punching could prove best of the rest.
