This is a very competitive event and Blades Edge is a tentative selection top beat Tee Jay Kassidy and Tinian. Alan Bailey's colt believe it or not, was rated as high as 65 last winter. He couldn't live up to that billing but still managed to finish four lengths behind Toronto Heights off a mark of 54 in an all-weather event at Lingfield. He has since disappointed on the turf but if he can get anywhere near his Lingfield form he could land this prize at a big price. Tee Jay Kassidy has to give eleven pounds to our selection, but did trot up last time and should be thereabouts again. Tinian has similar claims to the selection having finished third here off a mark of 65 last winter. He returns from a long summer holiday but should go close if fit. Air Of Esteem is another that catches the eye on past performances, but the value bet here could be Blades Edge and he gets a sporting vote.
