    Verdict

Kabuto is the only one with experience of the surface but was well beaten over track and trip on his debut. JACK OF TRADES makes more appeal on last month’s placed effort in a handicap at Newcastle and the Crisford’s charge has the beating of Abrag back in maiden company. The latter represents last year’s winning yard though was no match for the winner when second at Newcastle last time while Cheeky Az is upped in trip after placing over 7f at Kempton and Roger Varian’s yard has a good strike rate here.
