Verdict

Motahassen was well beaten here last time though scored over track and trip in this lower grade before that. He can figure but OBLATE is preferred having beaten a subsequent winner by a couple of lengths when opening his account on the all-weather with a course and distance victory on New Year’s Day. There looks more to come from him while Fox Shinji makes his handicap debut on his first outing since October and also steps up in trip. Baron Run has been off the track for even longer though has won here in the past and Limerick Lord is at his best on this surface though last week’s placed effort came in a lowly classified contest.
