Verdict

Grange Lili is taken to land the finale at the main expense of Bentley and Elizabeth Garrett. The selection finished behind Bentley in a handicap at Wolverhampton last time but on these terms the placings should be reversed today. Elizabeth Garrett has been well beaten on her last few starts but she is making her handicap debut today and she should be suited by the drop back to the minimum trip. Inverted has a good draw and he remains lightly raced so there could be more to come from him. Daruma is another handicap debutant and he could prove best of the rest, but Grange Lili deserves to win a race and she gets the vote.
