Verdict
Faithisflying gets the call over Tommytyler, with Queue Up also worth a mention. Faithisflying has been placed on each of his last three visits to the racecourse but has now gone 33 races without breaking his duck. However he is a standing dish round here and the step back up to a mile will hopefully help him to turn the tables on Tommytyler who finished a place ahead of him in the race won by Government a fortnight ago. He was sent off as favourite then and will be fancied to get losses back today, with Tommytyler again expected to give him most to do. Queue Up has been tried over longer trips without success, and the feeling is that he might even need a drop back to seven furlongs to show a semblance of his best form which even then is not good. Ex-bumper filly Scarlet Romance has shown nothing since switching codes but is dropped in grade and it would be dangerous to write her off in such a poor race, but we shall stay loyal to Faithisflying.
