Northside Prince has been thereabouts over longer trips than this of late but still makes more appeal than fellow veteran Swinging Hawk. The latter had just the one start last year when finishing a tailed-off last. BRASSBOUND has not been at his best recently either but drops in class as a consequence and was beaten only a short-head over course and distance in December. He'll take the beating if repeating that form given both Claude Greenwood and Monzino have plenty to find with Mike Appleby's charge at the weights.
