      Verdict

      A tight handicap where the vote goes to GAMESTERS LADY ahead of Inside Story and They All Laughed although that's not to say that Safin couldn't have a say. They All Laughed has done most of his racing over further of late but the majority of his wins have been achieved at this distance and few would begrudge this consistent performer another success. Inside Story has recorded back to back successes in the past and the handicapper has given him a chance of doing so again by raising him just 4lbs as he has won from higher marks. Safin has a good record at the track and was impressive on his latest visit when running out a ready winner which makes him of interest despite his subsequent defeat at Wolverhampton. Gamesters Lady is taken to follow up her win last month where a sustained challenge saw her get up close home to defy Friends Hope. She's well handicapped on the best of her form so should be able to go close if building on that performance and we'll take Gamesters Lady to do just that.
