Uncle Brit picked up an amateurs' race here a fortnight ago but will find this tougher while the same comment applies to Frankthetank, who only won a seller over 7f at the track in June. SAM SPADE was well beaten over the same trip on his return from a lay-off. But he scored three times over course and distance earlier in the year and should go close with that pipe-opener under his belt. Hail Promenader also has a shout with a claimer taking over the reins while Silly Billy and Bognor can be given a chance back on the Fibresand.
