In depth

Verdict

Both Moveonup and Puchita won here last month when beating the same horse. But the latter came out best when they last met and should go close again. Course regular CROSSE FIRE has won 13 times on this surface over the years and is overdue another victory now back on a winning mark. He’s been competing in tougher sprints than this and Scott Dixon’s charge can take advantage of the drop in class. Requinto Dawn has something to prove on Fibresand having gone close at Chepstow while Viva Voce was well beaten here earlier in the year but has won a handicap at Redcar since.
