Irusan landed a decent enough event at Wolverhampton last time and can follow up at the expense of Dispol Peto and Grand Ideas. This son of Catrail showed tremendous battling qualities to get the better of nautical in that very competitive seven furlong handicap, and this does appear to be an easier task. Dispol Peto has to be on the shortlist here following a terrific effort over course and distance last time when chasing home only one legend. Taking into account the rider's five pound claim, he is very well treated. Grand Ideas is very lightly raced and if he performs as well here, as he did on the Polytrack last time, when a close second to Mister Muja, he will be a danger to all. Roman Empire could prove best of the rest, but Irusan is the pick on recent form.
