      In depth

      Verdict

This looks a pretty tight handicap but LESHA has form on the Fibresand and gets the vote on that basis. He won a maiden race here last month and breeding suggests there should be more to come over today's longer trip. Groovejet is on a roll after landing a double on the Polytrack and is another stepping up in trip, along with Power Up. The latter opened her account in a maiden at Wolverhampton and remains on the same mark having had no success in handicaps before that. Big Kenny failed to cope with a harsh-looking 11lb rise for winning over 7f here and was well beaten when attempting 1m2f back in September.
