Yakimov is taken to get back to winning ways at the expense of High Command and Black Falcon. The selection is a Southwell specialist winning his last five races at this track. He was in great form throughout the winter and was not discredited on his last two races when finishing second on both those starts. He now has a career high mark as a result but he is respected in this claiming company so we feel there is still more to come. High Command was not seen form sometime before running at York last month so he is entitled to come on for the outing. Now dropped in grade he looks interesting if returning to somewhere near his best. Black Falcon has performed well on this surface in the past and connections have dropped him in grade now so he has to be on the short list to run well, but for the winner we will return to Yakimov.
