Glutnforpunishment only had one rival to beat at Lingfield in March and was well beaten on his next start on this track. BONNEVILLE, beaten nine lengths when runner-up here last month, only just failed to make all at Salisbury last week when caught in the final stride after going clear. He'll take some catching off the same mark as Spargrove showed little in his first season though is likely to be suited by the step up in trip. Jean Merci takes a massive step-up after only racing over 6f in his opening campaign.
