In depth

Verdict

SEDGE WREN (NAP) beat a previous winner when scoring at Huntingdon on her hurdling debut despite a less than fluent display of jumping. She should improve enough to defy a penalty. Chosen Port has placed form in bumpers but has failed to complete over hurdles so far while Lady Mendoza ran much better on her earlier debut than she did at Catterick last time. Western Jill is worth a second glance debuting under Rules with Brian Hughes on board.
