      Verdict

      Samtu won this back in 2015 and has scored over hurdles subsequently. But he’s having his first start since August and KATIE GALE is preferred. The latter has similar form having won over hurdles here last year and over course and distance in the past. Mike Appleby’s mare was placed in a higher grade at the track last time and is preferred to another course winner in Noguchi, who is reunited with winning partner Silvestre De Sousa today. Eurato and Pinwood arrive in good form though the former was tailed off on his only previous start on Fibresand.
