In depth

Verdict

SANDRIDGE LAD had been threatening a return to winning ways elsewhere on the all-weather before scoring easily over track and trip last time. John Ryan’s charge can defy a 5lb penalty with a similar effort. Al Suil Eile had Global Melody back in third when winning here last month but struggled over 7f back at the track last week when well behind the runner-up Six Strings. The latter can figure again but the remaining pair are hard to recommend.
