Astrum has been running well enough since returning to this grade, winning at Stratford three runs ago. But Phil Middleton's gelding has a mountain to climb on these terms against OCTAGON and Cliffside Park. The latter has only contested two sellers and won them both. He also ran quite well in a chase here in August but has to give 6lb to the former, who takes a drop in class and can shrug off an absence to score. He beat Astrum 10 lengths off level weight at Hexham in 2015.
