Brave Chief gets the confident vote with Cadogen Square and Brendan's Surprise rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Chickado and although he has a penalty for that win he won a shade cozily and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Cadogen Square rates the main danger as she also won well last time out when beating Sonderborg but this looks more competitive and for that reason she is opposed. Brendan's Surprise showed improved form to be second behind Doctor Dennis last time and is another with place claims but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Cayman Breeze is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he looks weighted up to his best while Golden Spectrum is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Brave Chief.
