    Verdict

    Dusky Dawn has every chance on these terms but ran poorly here last time having won over a mile at Newcastle before that. Ticks The Boxes only beat lower rated horses in a claimer at Newcastle recently but Viva Verglas landed a double over course and distance last month, though has a bit to find at the weights today. Yeeoow debuts on Fibresand but VROOM won a handicap over 7f at the track under today’s apprentice in February and the latter’s allowance brings him into the equation dropping down into a claimer.
