In depth

Verdict

The three recent winners could fight out the finish here and preference is for Sweet Pickle, just ahead of Muara and Black Sea Pearl. Sweet Pickle had to share top prize with Divinsky at Wolverhampton last time, with the in form Bond Playboy back in third. The last named has run well since so the form has a solid looks to it and Sweet Pickle can follow up today off what still looks a decent mark. Muara has to defy a six pound penalty following a smooth Wolverhampton victory last week. She is open to more improvement and cannot easily be dismissed. Black Sea Pearl's recent course success was over the seven furlong trip but she did manage to win over this distance on the turf back in October and has to be a danger to all. The pick of the others could be Cerebus, but Sweet Pickle's victory came in a hot contest and she looks set to go in again.
