Viking Rose improved for the step up to 1m2f last time so it's a surprise to see her back over a mile, while Patriotic hasn't looked like winning so far though may do better on this surface. Dubai Gem makes her Fibresand debut after going close at Ayr last month, while Valley Tiger was placed in a seller over C&D on his penultimate start. However, MASTER OF SONG has raced twice over track and trip now and has finished runner-up on both occasions, including his latest start in a handicap behind Eastern Hills here a week ago. Roy Bowring's charge can go one better back at this level and gets the vote.
