Verdict

Irish Sovereign has been upped 8lb for winning over a similar trip at Sedgefield while Ten Past Midnight’s winning run came to an end at Lingfield in December. ANGE ENDORMI (NAP) had shown little over hurdles until finishing runner-up over course and distance on his handicap debut. That was also his first outing after wind surgery and his first start in blinkers and Ben Pauling’s charge now looks to have everything in place to go one better. Getthepot looks no nearer winning but Hesque De L'isle may improve now handicapping.
