        Verdict

        Hoofalong's debut second at York back in May is the best piece of form and Oscars Journey finished a creditable sixth at Newmarket in July. Both could figure with the proviso that they take to the Fibresand. Max The Machine was beaten a couple of lengths over C&D on his penultimate start and should put that experience to good use but a chance is taken on the newcomer ROBYN. She's a half-sister to dual C&D winner Je Suis Unrockstar and Scott Dixon's filly may well prove good enough on her debut.
