My Immortal looks hard to oppose in an uncompetitive looking contest and gets the vote with Lawyer Des Ormeaux and Hero Again rated the main dangers. The selection was easily the best of these over hurdles and, if jumping soundly on ground that he appreciates, David Pipe's gelding will be hard to beat. Schemer Fagan is hard to recommend and of more interest may be Hero Again, who has shown ability over hurdles but has yet to prove his effectiveness on ground this fast. Peter Bowen's Lawyer Des Ormeaux has experience over fences that has to be an advantage but if My Immortal jumps well then he should win.
