In depth

Verdict

This is tricky given there is not much between Call Out Loud and Custard The Dragon on latest running. The former completed a hat-trick at Wolverhampton with his latest success and both have won on the Fibresand. Bold Prediction and QUIXOTE have been competing in tougher handicaps than this without success elsewhere on the all-weather. The former still looks a shade high in the weights but the latter has slipped down the handicap since arriving from France and it’s David Loughnane’s charge that gets the nod having been beaten only a length at Kempton last time. The three-year-old maiden winner Thomas Cranmer has not raced since September but remains unexposed and is one to note in the betting.
