Lucy Wadham’s string is in sparkling form so don’t rule out a big run from the returning Mr Love. Mayohill is tried in cheekpieces after pulling up at Ludlow and should fare better over fences. Emerald Chieftan won over hurdles at Sedgefield but form over the larger obstacles has left a great deal to be desired so far. It took Two Hoots 13 attempts to win a chase and there may not be much more to offer. GOODTHYNEAWAY was much too keen at Catterick and got rid of Bridget Andrews but Harry Skelton has the reins today and, if he settles, much better is expected. Overawed ran poorly when favourite at Wetherby in December but went close either side of that and can’t be ignored.
