Given his stable's current good form, it would be no surprise to see St Johns Point go well on his reappearance as he was probably taking on better opposition in the spring. Monkhouse didn't manage a win over hurdles but looks the type to do better over fences and is another representing an in-form yard. Robert's Star is a similar type while Kinari has already won three chases and has much more experience than his rivals, though looks a few pounds too high now. STEPS AND STAIRS has won his last two here yet, though 11lb higher than when successful over track and trip in June, still receives weight all round and could take advantage. Iora Glas makes more appeal than the Tim Vaughan pair Ashford Wood and Ballyrock of the others.
