Arabian Spirit may have enough in reserve to land this but the likes of Top Draw, The Twelve Steps and All In The Red all rate dangers. The selection progressed pleasingly in three runs in maidens but didn't appear to achieve a great deal on his handicap debut at Great Leighs. That was his seasonal return though and he may just have needed the run as he left that form behind when going close behind one of Michael Bell's at Leicester. He races from the same mark today and has a clear chance. Given that Bell saddled the winner of that race support for Top Draw would have to be taken seriously. She was given too much to do at Lingfield last time but this consistent filly should be involved in the finish if handling the track. The Twelve Steps won his maiden here in good style and may benefit from the return to the track and the application of blinkers. All In The Red merits close consideration and Montiboli is well worth a second look. Competitive fare but Arabian Spirit may have the answers.
