In depth

Verdict

Katie Gale goes well fresh as she demonstrated when successful over 2m here last June, her first start since scoring over the same trip at Kempton the previous September. Gabrial The Duke's three all-weather victories have come at Lingfield and he ran moderately on his only start here but Bushel has run very well in his last three starts on the track including last week's victory for which he's penalised. HERE FOR GOOD was making his Fibresand debut when gaining a comfortable success in late December and, though an 8lb looks harsh as it was a moderate contest, Gary Mahon's claim could prove invaluable and Brian Ellison's charge can go in again. Layline has had plenty of chances to score here but not taken them, though he's gone close on several occasions and has dropped to a fair mark. Moccasin is making his debut on the track.
