King Of Barbury can defy topweight to beat Storm Prince and Major Shark. Alan King also had Doce Vida entered at the five-day stage but is happy to rely on King Of Barbury who chased home her stablemate at Uttoxeter last month. Although not as classy as the winner that day according to the trainer, King Of Barbury still showed enough to warrant support over this slightly longer trip. The ground is a bit of a worry, and any more rain would increase our confidence in the seven-year-old. Tony McCoy rode Storm Prince to victory at Wincanton in March, and if the ground does remain on the fast side that will not bother John Spearing's inmate, third at Bangor when attempting to make all last time. Major Shark would not want it too fast and he would be a leading contender under easier conditions based on his previous successes. Measure Up has not been seen since making a winning debut over hurdles at Worcester last September but if fit enough is not one to dismiss lightly. If King Of Barbury acts on the ground though, his form entitles him to be the one to beat.
