Kokila is the pick here ahead of Musical Gift, Aventura and Colonel Bilko. This is a poor contest, and with the William Haggas stable off to a good start, there is every reason to believe that Kokila will make the most of this opportunity. It has to be said that the filly has not progressed much after a couple of promising efforts in better company, and was well down the field on her first visit here last week. That was a much stronger affair than this though, and in receipt of weight from all of her older rivals, she is taken to come good. Musical Gift scraped home in a Wolverhampton Banded race last time and has plenty of weight, and a bigger danger may well be Aventura who returned from an 11-month break to finish third here over seven furlongs last week. Of the rest, Colonel Bilko is worth a mention as he has a couple of placed efforts to his name, but Kokila is the one to beat.
