In depth

Verdict

Tamareen and Maverik scored at Wolverhampton on their latest starts and both make their debuts on the Fibresand today. In contrast, Il Battista has registered all three career wins on this surface including a victory over a mile here last time and looks sure to go close again. But GLOBAL VILLAGE has really taken to Fibresand and is now two from two having landed a double over 6f here last month. Already a winner over today's longer trip, Brian Ellison's charge looks capable of going in again despite a further 5lb rise.
