Verdict
This does not look a particularly strong maiden and we are happy to nominate KAMANJA to get the better of Premier Lad and Geese A Laying. The selection is a filly who has shaped with promise on each of her two runs to date. She showed plenty of speed last time before fading close home, so this drop in trip should suit and she can get her head in front at the third time of asking. Premier Lad is another who clearly has ability on the evidence of what we have seen so far. This is only his third run but he shapes as though he will be suited by this extra furlong and he should run our selection close. Geese A Laying is an interesting newcomer from the Jamie Osborne yard and the market may well be a good guide to her chance today. The yard are in fair form at present so if the market vibes were positive then she would have to enter calculations. Brett Vale was well beaten on his debut at Wolverhampton and he will need to show significant improvement to make his mark today. This should not take much winning and the vote is given to Kamanja.
