This is another poor affair, with Insignia given a tentative nod to come out on top ahead of Pontefract Glory and Pawn In Life. A maiden in eighteen starts, it says everything that Insignia is given the leading chance here. A respectable fourth in a similar race last time may prove good enough form to take this. He has had lots of chances previously, but none as good as this, and Insignia can make it a day to remember for connections. Pontefract Glory has not exactly lived up to his name so far in his career, with a second in a seller at Leicester in June as close as he has got. He hasnt been beaten far in two sellers recently though and can hit the frame. Pawn In Life has eight wins to his credit and has been keeping better company than his rivals of late. He takes a drop in grade here and has been running well enough to suggest he can play a part in the finish. Insignia though gets the vote.
