Some old rivals are set to oppose each other once more, with True To Yourself getting a confident vote to confirm his superiority over Brother Cadfael and Our Imperial Bay on these terms. The selection comfortably brushed aside his rivals in a handicap recently but was unlucky enough to come up against a much improved opponent in Come What July near the finish. Stravmour was also well beaten on that occasion and, despite his vast experience of the track, appears to have a little to prove. He did finish in front of True To Yourself when disappointed on his penultimate start. However, as the nine-year-old reverted to type here twelve days ago, the selection stays with James Given's charge this time around.
