Powerful Society was claimed out of Richard Fahey's yard after scoring over 7f here in November and had won a Carlisle handicap over that trip in September. Helen Sherbet battled on to land a similar handicap over the course and distance but couldn't go the pace on a return visit a few days later. She'll need a very strong gallop to get into the action. LADY SANDY wasn't beaten far here last time where she stayed on strongly and David Barron's improving filly can take this with Jane Elliott's claim a major bonus.
