Winning point-to-pointer VINNIE LUCK had an outing over fences in March when runner-up over 2m4f on heavy ground at Cork. He performed well in two subsequent runs over hurdles before slipping up when favourite at Downpatrick last week and can make amends. Antiphony has been reasonably consistent over hurdles and is bred for chasing so he's one to note but Polish Partisan went backwards in his last starts over fences a year ago. Flathertys Gap won twice between the flags but has had jumping problems and the interesting one here is The Big Apple. Christy Roche' charge won a Naas bumper in a canter in November 2014 but hasn't been seen since beaten at odds-on over hurdles the following month. He's from a smart jumping family and hopefully he'll be ready to do himself justice.
