Verdict

Modest fare but both Joseph O’Brien and Henry De Bromhead are doubly represented. Davy Russell rides Boston Spray for the former and a clear round would probably see him thereabouts while Hitdroadjack and the unexposed KILBREW GOLD both have claims for the latter. Robbie Power’s mount only weakened at the last when trying to make all at Downpatrick in June and he should last longer today. Touch Base has struggled in handicaps over hurdles recently but might do better in this sphere. The mare Shipwreck has been running into form over timber recent and is a course winner so could go well at a price.
