It's a surprise to see Edmondstown Lass dropping back in trip after she finally lost her maiden tag over an extended mile at Killarney. She was suited by soft ground that day and will be at home on today's going but an 8lbs rise tempers enthusiasm. Philosophers Guest was 8l behind Edmondstown Lass at Killarney and her only success came over 1m1f on fast ground at Ballinrobe.
