Verdict

Play By The Rules is a couple of pounds out of the handicap but has been going well and should get into contention. Talbot has never raced beyond a mile and his only victory has been at Dundalk while dual hurdles winner Red Ball Of Fire is best over further. Lucky Number hasn't won since Bath in 2019 and his best recent run was over a mile so a chance is taken on the return to form of DREAL DEAL. Ronan McNally's charge completed a six-timer during 2020 and 2021 and will be better for last week's run at Roscommon.
